Budapest to host Europe’s largest fish festival
Budapest (MTI) – Budapest’s City Park will host Europe’s largest fish festival between February 19 and 22, chief organiser Istvan Necz told a press conference on Monday.
The event, held for the third time this year, will offer over 100 fish delicacies, a cooking competition, entertainment for children and musical programmes.
“The festival aims to promote Hungary’s fish, its fish food, and encourage people to eat more fish,” the organiser said.
