According to the report, number of people, who went to doctors because of flu-like symptoms, increased in four counties, decreased in eight counties and the capital and did not change in seven counties in the 8th week – National Epidemiology Center revealed the information.
In Csongrad county, number of patients with flue increased by two-third. Most of the patients were in Gyor-Moson-Sopron, Hajdu-Bihar and Zala counties. In the age distribution, there was no significant change: children and young adults got sick most often, origo.hu says.
199 airway samples of flu-suspect patients arrived to the National Influenza Reference Laboratory in the 8th week, 25 percent less than the previous week. Influenza A and B were identified in most of the laboratory samples.
