15 kilos of cardboard, 90 kilos of polystyrene, 10 liters of glue, 14 thousand small parts – these make up the stunningly detailed scale model of the Parliament. Sculptors, architects and modelers participated in the project worked 10-12 hours a day for six months in order to give birth the impressive, 1:100 scale model – szeretlekmagyarorszag.hu said earlier. Between 1st and 31st March it can be viewed free in the Parliament Visitor Center from 4:30 to 6:30 pm.

According to szeretlekmagyarorszag.hu, preparations of the work – which required enormous concentration and precision – were extremely time- and energy consuming, since there was not a comprehensive description, so everything had to be measured. Photos were also needed if only because each of the facade sculptures is different. In the model, these were made individually in a so professional manner that human subjects can be detected by face. The forged iron grids and the small towers also shows the reality with incredible sophistication.
