Spain over Germanwings crash – PM Orban and President Ader sends condolences to Germany and Spain
Budapest (MTI) – Prime Minister Viktor Orban has telegrammed condolences to German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy over the crash of a Germanwings plane on Tuesday, Orban’s press chief said.
Orban said he learnt with shock about the crash in France.
The Hungarian people share the grief of the victims’ families, he said.
The plane with 150 on board was en route from Barcelona to Duesseldorf and crashed in the French Alps.
President Janos Ader expressed condolences on his and the Hungarian people’s behalf to Spanish King Felipe VI, German President Joachim Gauck and the families of the victims.
He said that “in these hours filled with sorrow, we share the grief of the people of Spain.”
