This weekend, you can visit the Oldtimer Show in the Hungarian Railway Museum, Budapest, oldtimershow.hu said.
Oldtimers’ Weekend will be organized in the popular retro place, the Hungarian Railway Museum from April 10-12. You can view more than 500 beautiful vintage vehicles. There will also be more than 100 year-old motors and cars with wooden wheels.
The organizer will introduce several novelties: entrances no.2 and 3 will lead to the renovated Water Tower Park, where the visitors can view the County House of Csaba (Bekescsaba, South Hungary). As a taste of the Sausage Festival in October, Csaba sausages will be handed out. An AVO (former communist authority) diorama will present crop confiscation.
Neither the children will get bored: there will be corrals, where children can pet the animals and they can ride too. Next to the wine cellar, there will be free playground and Scythian archery. Face painting, driving simulators and sand table will be waiting for them, oldtimershow.hu said.
The repertoire consists of several parts: there will be military equipment and supplies of the US Military and the military history exhibition of the Hungarian Army. In addition to that, you can see a Youngtimer exhibition, oldtimer buses and trucks, ships and camper vans. Of course, every interactive program of the museum will operate like garden railway, railcar, horsecar and a real steam train.
