Budapest Essentials will have an own city tour

Index.hu has already known this year’s Budapest Essentials’ set (Wombats, La Roux, Eskmo, Katy B) will be better than last year’s event, but now daytime programs have also been announced, which are not necessarily linked to music. One of the key points of the Budapest festival is that there will be combined services and actions for daily tickets and passes. For example, there will be city tours which are quite popular among urban dwellers.

During the Hollywood Walk, we can move through the most famous filming locations. The Made in Budapest tour presents you the best manufactories – and you can also taste them. The Metro 4 Walk reveals you, beyond the construction of the legendary line, the hidden messages of concrete block and tiles. There will be an irregular tour, which is only available during the festival time, the Inside Budapest Art. Esthete Noemi Nadudvari     will present you the street art.

In return for the festival ticket, Budapest Zoo, the contemporary collection of Ludwig Museum and several baths will be free during the event. Vasarely Museum, Capa Center, National Gallery, Ferenc Hopp Museum of Asian Art, Mai Mano House and Zwack Museum will cost only half the price.

The organizers will announce the concert venues soon, who promise that Margitsziget will be the center of this year’s festival.
