European Space Agency, Hungarian Academy of Sciences open incubation centre
The European Space Agency (ESA) in cooperation with the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA) opened a business incubation centre, ESA BIC Hungary, in Budapest on Monday.
The ESA BIC Hungary is to fund startups using space technology solutions in products and services developed for everyday life.
Photo: MTIStartups not older than five years are invited to apply for the 50,000 euro grants.
Levente Magyar, the state secretary of the foreign ministry, said at the opening event that “ESA BIC Hungary channels the results of state-of-the-art European space research to Hungary and Hungarian ideas into space research.”
