Szeretlekmagyarorszag.hu chose this week’s topic of its list the street food. Some say a country which doesn’t have good street food buffets, it can’t have good restaurants as well. Fortunately, there are more and more good, even bistro-like locations in Budapest; the website shows the most important ones.

Pista ba

Pista ba is the deli which launched the deli revolution and even the deli street at Madach square. Their pastrami sandwiches became the favorite of Budapest just for because it is the actual pastrami. In their soups there is more fantasy than in a Disney tale. They collected a pretty big amount of regular customer within the rushing people of Budapest, and they even have Pista ba beer. Their next big thing is steam burger this year, which is the first steam burger in the city.

Pizza Me

Pizza Me is the slice bar of the year. Originally, it started from Pizza la Mamma Sofia in Kiraly Street and it got a new name just because the former was too long. Although it is not the 200 forint-category, yet it hit an incredible success by that it is simply divinely delicious. A real Italian pizza from real Italians.

Hot dog and cold beer

At Hot dog and cold beer, you can taste a quarter to dozen far-from-classic hot dog: corndog, which hasn’t been known at us so far, which is a sausage crumbed in beer pasta, fried, wrapped to a stick. And Bounty, Mars, Snickers wrapped into pasta. Everyone’s boot list must contain the eating of  a Japanese dog with lots of wasabi.
