Central Europe’s first luxury village to be built in Hungary
Hungary’s and Central Europe’s first luxury village will be built in the Balaton region, Sokszínű Vidék reports. The luxury village is the newest 250,000,000-Million-Euro project of Zala Spring Golf Resort, which will be a 160-hectare luxury resort for people seeking to have the perfect holiday.
Zala Springs Golf Resort
The luxury village will be built in the small village of Zalacsány, on the 160-hectare property of Zala Springs Golf Resort (designed by world-famous Robert Trent Jones Jr.), which is currently
the highest quality golf course in the whole region.
The golf course opened in 2015. This year, it was used by more than 10,000 players. They had unique opportunity to practice their golf swing, pitching and grip.
Within the resort, there is also a bistro, a clubhouse and two condos (the third one with 18 apartments is currently being built). The idea behind the apartments in the resort was “providing the comfort of a hotel via a quality downtown apartment”. The smallest apartments are 57 m2, while the largest are 186m2. The apartments cost between EUR 176,000 – EUR 675,000.
Luxury holiday village
The new holiday village project is planned to encompass the construction of:
- a five-star hotel
- several mansions/villas
- shops
- a wellness centre
- restaurants and cafés
- a gym
- a pharmacy
- a playground
- a cultural- and conference centre
- sport fields
- a lake
- recreational areas and other premium services
This is not only going to be the first luxury village in Hungary, but the first one in all Central Europe. The estimated cost of the project is EUR 250,000,000 (HUF 77,000,000,000).
The holiday village will be open to guests all year round, and it is planned to be able to serve more than a thousand people. Besides the residents, guests of the exclusive spa will also have the chance to enjoy the special community. Creators emphasise that
all services will be available in the highest quality within the village, and visitors will find absolutely everything they could possibly need for the perfect vacation.
Another selling point of the luxury village is the fact that the very popular thermal lake of Hévíz is only a few minutes away.
