Pocker- The Polish Dog-trotter” travels the world advocating dog adoption rather than buying one. This time, he visited Budapest, the Facebook page of Pocker wrote.
According to the page, “the woman behind the campaign is Polish animal lover and TV journalist Kasia Pisarska who has called to adopt rather than buy dogs”.
The mascot started his journey around the world on October 16, 2013.
There is a rule how you can adopt Pocker: according to the Facebook page, you can adopt him at least for one day and a maximum of 10 days. You have to send Kasia a minimum of one photo per day and you have to tell at least one person that they should adopt animals, instead of buying them. It is also important that Pocker has to go hand-to-hand with people, not be sent by post.
Here you can find the photos about Pocker’s journey.

I totally agree with this as someone who has adopted 3 dogs since living in Hungary. Maybe if we adopt dogs instead of buying them it will help to stop puppy farms.
