Hungary’s popularity is fast increasing. More and more tourists come to the beautiful capital city, Budapest. Alex Clare concert – November 26th, 8 pm
British singer-songwriter Alex Clare is coming to Hungary to give an acoustic concert. Fans can hear acoustic versions of his hit songs as well as never-before-heard tracks. His biggest hit so far has been “Too Close”. Get a glimpse here:
Beriozka – Hungarian Tour 2018 – November 26th, 7 pm
The world-famous Russian dance company with their fascinating ‘floating step ensemble’ has come to Hungary. Their method of dancing gives the impression of the stage moving instead of the dancers – it is extremely impressive. You can check out a short clip here and see for yourself:

August Burns Red concert – November 27th, 6:30 pm
The Pennsylvanian metalcore band is actually going to perform in Hungary for the second time this year. Even though people can get loose at their concerts and let go of their anger, the band makes sure that their songs ultimately have a positive, even Christian message.

Boban Markovic concert – November 28th, 8 pm
Boban Markovic legendary Serbian Trumpet player is giving a concert in Budapest this Wednesday. He and his brass ensemble have performed all over the world; they even gave a concert at Sziget Festival some years ago. The Serbian heritage can clearly be heard in their music, and they have won numerous prestigious prizes for their talents. Check out a preview here (and spot the sights of Hungary, too):

Smokie concert – November 28th, 8 pm
Smokie was founded all the way back in 1956. Over the years, they had lots of hits and great successes. In 1975, their hit song called “If You Know How To Love Me” brought them international success and allowed them to tour the world. This concert will be a celebration of their life’s work. They will play the symphonic version of their greatest hits while unique photos and video clips will play in the background. It promises to be a truly unforgettable experience, both musically and visually.

16th Anilogue International Animation Festival – November 28th – December 2nd
Movie fans can enjoy the hits of the animation world for a few days in Budapest. You can watch 300 short films and 14 full-length movies. This year, Croatia, Slovenia and Italy are in the centre of the festival. The programmes are divided up into tthree locations. For more information, click here.
Lyddmor concert – December 1st, 8 pm
Danish singer Lydmor’s concerts are truly a wonder t experience. The singer moves through extremes, from darkness to light, from loving to cool and from order to chaos. It will be an emotional rollercoaster, but her amazing voice – often compared to Grimes or Kate Bush – definitely makes it worth it.

Play VR Budapest open day – December 1st
This Saturday will be your chance to try what virtual reality is like. It is a completely free event, you only have to sign up (you can do so here). It is the perfect programme both for those who love VR and consider themselves pros and for those who are still just starting to dip their toes in this field. Either you come with your family or some friends, it will be an incredible experience.
Hungarian Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra – December 1st, 8 pm
Lovers of classical music do not want to miss out on this event. You can get lost in the beautiful classical music played by Hungary’s most talented musicians, as well as marvel at the beauty of Budapest’s Matthias Church. As an excellent preparation for the season of Advent and Christmas, you will not regret attending. More information here.
