Hungarian sunglasses make their way to well-known celebrities
Only a few people know that some of the most special sunglasses are made in Budapest, even though world-famous artists, singers and sportspeople wear them. Let us see what is so special about the sunglasses of Tipton Eyeworks.
Zach Milaskey created his first pair of glasses for himself, but it was such a huge success among his friends that he had to make more and more of them. To the sorrow of his father’s vinyl collection, he later realised it is a great material for making glasses. Szeretlek Magyarország visited his manufacture, Tipton Eyeworks.
Besides vinyl sunglasses, they make spectacles with movie scenes. The best thing is that you can put your favourite scenes into it if you want to.
The philosophy of Tipton Eyeworks is to make every product with their bare hands from recycled materials.
What is more, they intend to complete the whole manufacturing process in Hungary – they indicate that it was “Handmade in Hungary” on each product.
Their products can be found in more than 300 premium optics; they have a great reputation. Lots of celebrities have Tipton Eyeworks sunglasses, for example
Sir Elton John, Robbie Williams and his girlfriend, Ayda Field, Mick Fleetwood, Elvis Costello, Gus Unger-Hamilton (Alt-J), Brazilian football player Dani Alves, and Fred Dirst, the singer of Limp Bizkit,
but they have a collaboration with AC/DC as well.
