Paul Anka – “I love all the things… Hungarian….” – VIDEO
Within the framework of the US Embassy’s gala ceremony held at Budapest Congress Center on Tuesday evening, one of the world’s most shining star – Paul Anka – welcomed the audience as a surprise guest.
As the Hungarian news portal borsonline.hu describes, the event was held at the commemoration of the 243rd anniversary of the US Independence, which is an American national holiday. The world-famous singer, Paul Anka, was invited as the surprise guest of the evening.
The musician amazed the audience with a heartwarming performance – he listed the things he loves about Hungary with the melodies of Frank Sinatra’s greatest hit My Way in the background. It turned out that – besides St. Stephens Day, Lake Balaton and Heroes’ Square – Paul Anka is a huge fan of the Hungarian Prime Minister, Viktor Orbán as well, expressing his respect by massive joint applause along with the audience.
According to the news portal 24.hu, – The Hungarian Prime Minister, Viktor Orbán who also attended the event, felt so honoured by the world star’s sympathy towards Hungary that he posted the following video on his Facebook page:
