Czech police officers had arrived to contribute to Hungary’s border protection efforts
Budapest, October 30 (MTI) – The Visegrad Four countries of the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia have shown exemplary cooperation in handling the migrant crisis, Interior Minister Sandor Pinter said on Friday.
Pinter welcomed fifty Czech police officers who had arrived to contribute to Hungary’s border protection efforts. He said individual countries find it difficult to bear the burdens posed by illegal migrants and cooperation was therefore much needed.
Since January 1, more than 390,000 migrants from 101 countries entered Hungary illegally, he said.
