The first trailer of Netflix’s production – The King – has been released! Some parts of the film were shot in the Hungarian town, Szilvásvárad.

As Index describes, the film presents the story of the medieval monarch King Henry V, based on Shakespeare’s three dramas that were adapted by Joel Edgerton and David Michôd. Michôd also directed the movie, while Edgerton acted in the film, along with such stars like Timothée Chalamet, Sean Harris, Tom Glynn-Carney, Lily-Rose Depp, Thomasin McKenzie, Robert Pattinson and Ben Mendelsohn.

Some parts of the film were shot in Hungary, Szilvásvárad. The Hollywood star, Brad Pitt was also involved in the production as co-producer. Last summer, the actor could be seen while riding a bicycle in Eger.

According to atv.hu, due to its favourable conditions, Hungary is a preferred filming location for Hollywood directors. In the last few years, several world-famous productions were shot in Hungary. These include the I Spy, Hercules, Blade Runner 2049, World War Z, the third part of the Terminator or the Red Sparrow. Of course, we cannot miss series either – The Borgias, Dracula or The Cathedral, just to mention a few examples.

As Origo describes, the film will debut at the 76^th Venice Film Festival on 2^nd September. Then – besides Netflix – it will be broadcast in cinemas.
