Amazing! – Tutankhamun Exhibition opens in Budapest this November! – PHOTOS
This fall, a real world sensation will take place in the Hungarian capital! The extraordinary Tutankhamun Exhibition will be opened on 8th November, and will amaze its visitors until March 2020.
The exhibition – “Tutankhamun – Treasures and Mysteries from the grave” invites its visitors for a time travel into the mysterious world of ancient Egypt.
As the Hungarian news portal Blikk reports, the exposed relics can be viewed in their original form – as the British archaeologist Howard Carter firstly discovered the fantastic treasures of the tomb, on 4th November 1922.
The crypts are opened one after the other in front of the audience. The exposition precisely reflects all the details of the chambers, just like in their original form 3,300 years ago.
Visitors can feel like explorers at the biggest archaeological sensation! On the occasion of its jubilee anniversary – it was discovered 100 years ago – several extra materials and surprises can be enjoyed at the exhibition, besides the more than 1,000 items exposed.
At a territory of 2,200 m2, the exhibition presents the reconstruction of the burial chamber and relics in their original form. The exhibited copies were certified by famous Egyptologists.
The exhibition can be viewed at Komplex event hall in Budapest, until March 2020.
