Hungarians aren’t the happiest in Europe, who would have thought
Change language:
According to a new survey, less than 60% of Hungarians claim to feel happy all or most of the time, and 1 in every 10 Hungarian never feels happy at all.
New Eurostat survey reveals how unhappy Hungarian people really are. It turns out; we are way below the EU average.
Only 57.8% of Hungarians reported feeling happy all or most of the time, which is approximately 10/6 people.
In 2018, over 62% of people aged 16 and over in the European Union reported being happy all of the time (14%) or most of the time (48%), while 12% were rarely (8%) or never happy (2%). Compared with 2013, the share of happy people in the EU increased by over two percentage points (60%).
Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria and Finland have the happiest people: over three-quarters of people (76% in each country) claimed to feel satisfied all or most of the time over the last four weeks. Following the top three are Luxembourg (74% of people), Spain (72%) and Denmark (70%).

The only ones unhappy is the people working for the polling company. Always pushing for an unhappy Hungary where depression and suicide are prevalent. What a load.
