Police brutality or did the Romanian police catch Hungarian terrorists?

According to maszol.ro, members of the 64 Counties Youth Movement (HVIM) wanted to blow up 20 home-made bombs at the parade held in Kezdivasarhely on the Romanian National Day with the aim to cause panic.

At least, the Prosecutor’s Office against organized crime and terrorism told this in its report, which asks the court for the pre-trial detention of the Transylvanian chairman of HVIM, Zoltan Szocs, who was arrested on Wednesday morning. The prosecuting authority states that the eavesdropping protocol of HVIM’s meeting on October 10 proves its claims.

Digi24 Television quoted the document on Wednesday. According to this, Zoltan Szocs encouraged his associates to produce bombs from petards and blow them up at the Kezdivasarhely parade. The audio recordings show how he even gave advice about the removing of the traces, maszol.ro wrote.

Previously, Sandor Hodor, member of HVIM said that it was just a joke, because they knew that the Romanian authorities eavesdrop on them. They talked about a home-made bomb called “pizza”, and one of the members made a gag about blowing it up on the National Day on December 1.
