Hungarian students received a letter from Prince William – PHOTOS

The small second-grade students of Avastetői Primary School believed that princes and princesses only exist in tales. Neither the teachers nor the children could ever believe that one day they would receive a letter from His Royal Highness Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge.

According to Boon, during a class at school, the teacher of the students came up with the idea of writing a Christmas greeting card for Prince William and his family. The children were astonished by the fact that princes and princesses are real in some countries. The bigger surprise for them was when the postman arrived with a letter from His Royal Highness himself.

In the letter, the students wrote how hard-working they are and also shared some thoughts about Hungarian Christmas traditions. They wished a joyful Christmas for the Royal Family, and at the end, every child signed the letter. They found the proper address of Prince William on the Internet.

The students of the class have already started to learn English, and it was an excellent opportunity for them to practice writing. Also, the teachers intended to show them that writing a letter is not only possible online but on a piece of paper as well. A few days later, the postman arrived, and one of the teachers started to examine the arrived letters. Among the usual ones, it was astonishing that one arrived from Kensington Palace.
