Hungary population decline accelerates in 2015
Budapest, February 23 (MTI) – Hungary’s population decline accelerated in 2015 as the number of births rose less than in 2014 and the number of deaths increased after a decline in the previous year, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported on Tuesday.
Preliminary figures show the number of live births rose 0.2 percent to 91,700. The increase slowed from 3.2 percent in 2014.
The number of deaths rose by 4.2 percent to 131,600 in 2015 after dropping 0.5 percent in the previous year.
The natural population decrease was 39,900 or 4.1 per thousand people, up from 34,600 or 3.5 per thousand in 2014.

Hungarians better learn how to make babies or they will die out as it’s happening in historic Hungarian villages outside of Hungary. Hungary should have a population of around 15 million people, not 9 million.
If the population continues to decline by about 40,000 people per year Hungary will cease to exist in less than 250 years.
