Strasbourg court: Hungary should pay Iranian, Afghan asylum-seekers compensation
The European Court of Human Rights has ruled that the Hungarian state must pay compensation to five Iranian and four Afghan asylum-seekers who appealed to the court over bad conditions during their asylum proceedings in Hungary’s transit zone at Röszke.
The complainants applied for asylum to Hungarian authorities in the summer of 2017 after arriving in Hungary from Serbia, according to the judgement of the case, released by the Strasbourg court on Tuesday.
In its judgement, the court said that
conditions in the transit zone were insufficient with special regard to a pregnant woman and a child.
Food supplies available for them were also insufficient, the court said.
The court said that
the Hungarian state had violated the right to free movement and to appropriate conditions set in the European human rights convention.
As we wrote a few days ago, Hungarian authorities have apprehended 15,300 illegal migrants at Hungary’s borders so far this year, read more details HERE.

All human rights courts’ mandates should be ignored. These courts are irrational. It is time for these courts to recognize Dublin Regulations and national laws. These people who claimed compensation probably had better living conditions at the Hungarian border than in their homes. The other important thing to remember is that these people could always leave and return to Serbia. No Hungarian taxpayers’ money should be given to these people.
Maria Von Theresa, you are such a scam. Far right troll, who thinks that she is better than other people. Asylum seekers should get normal conditions no matter where are they coming from.

Maria Von Claptrap, the Dublin III convention is only operative within the EU. Anyway, by the sounds if it you have been at the Pálinka again.
Forget about using any Hungarian funds to ‘compensate’ ILLEGAL MUSLIM MIGRANTS !
As usual, the E.C.J. is ‘on another planet’.
The money can be used to FURTHER strengthen Hungary’s border defences against such invaders and IF there is anything left over it could go towards feeding the country’s defenders – anyone for some delicious PORK chops ?
EU Human rights court ruled against Hungary because the family said they were not provided with enough food (that I do not believe) had no air conditioning (most Hungarian houses have no air conditioning). The father was not provided with food after his request for asylum was refused. The man, instead of leaving Hungarian territory, kept requesting asylum to which he was not entitled. The court ruling was in error. Those people who object to my comments do not consider the consequences. If all people, especially young men who do not wish to work, Hungarian taxpayers would be liable for millions as well as paying for increased criminal activity. Statistics have proven that over 50% of migrants are unemployed and a large percentage that are employed work on government made projects. Statistics have also proved that they migrants/refugees do not meld into EU societies but create no go zones. Hungary is not obligated to accept any asylum seekers that crossed from a safe country where there is opportunity for asylum. All EU individual sovereignty should be respected. It really is time for Hungary to leave the EU, bi amount of money is worth the frustration of dealing with unreasonable leftist socialist.
