Breaking – grand opening starts today, face mask no longer obligatory!
Hungary reached the 5 millionths inoculated person – PM Viktor Orbán told in a Facebook video published only hours ago. As a result, the Hungarian grand reopening starts tomorrow, but the operative body decided that people no longer have to wear face masks in public spaces from today.
PM Orbán encouraged everybody to accept the vaccine. He said that it was the only solution to put an end to the deadly disease. He expressed his thankfulness to all those taking part in the Hungarian inoculation program and those who “were brave enough” to accept the jab.
He also said that the operative body decided nobody had to wear a face mask on the streets and any public spaces from today.
Finally, he said “Goodbye” to the mask.
As we reported before, the Hungarian grand opening will start the day after Hungary reaches the 5 millionths inoculated person.
Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said in a radio interview on Friday that “we’ve basically defeated the third wave” of the coronavirus, and that a number of remaining restrictions would be lifted once five million people have been vaccinated.
Outstanding restrictions to be lifted include the night-time curfew, the mandatory closing time of restaurants and shops, wearing masks in public spaces, as well as the ban on outdoor individual and team sports.
Further, up to 50 people can attend private and family events, while up to 200 people can attend weddings.
Hotel and restaurant managers must make sure guests are separated, while up to 500 people can attend outdoor events, including meetings.

Orbán looks like twenty years older than his actual age….. his life-style must be very unhealthy.
Considering the amount of stress that Prime Minister Viktor Orban must have been under for the past several months managing Hungary’s response to COVID-19, he looks remarkably well.
