Bors GasztroBár

As its name suggests, the first place on our list is not a traditional restaurant. It is a bar where you can choose from a huge variety of sandwiches, soups, and salads. It is quite a modern idea of having a good meal, for an extremely reasonable price. For instance, you can have a big cup of delicious soup for less than 2 euros. Moreover, they are situated in one of the most popular and crowded streets of the city centre, at the following address: 10 Kazinczy Street (1074). The next time you get ready to go out and want to have something in your belly as a precaution, make sure to pay a visit, before their closing time of 9 pm.

Local Korner

Local Korner might not be the cheapest spot on this list; nevertheless, it is absolutely worth visiting if you are in the mood for a good pizza or in the case you do not eat meat as they have vegan options as well. The place looks very nice, vibrant, and is always full of young people. Moreover, its location is absolutely perfect as it is found at 17 Semmelweis Street (1052).

Fuego Restaurante

The name itself gives it away. If you like Mediterranean and mostly Spanish food, with a touch of Europe, Fuego is your place. Their dishes look extremely appetising for a price ranging between 3-15 euros. You can have lunch, dinner, or even a late-night snack as they are open until 11:30 pm. They even offer gluten-free options. As in the case of the previous places, their location is perfection, in the Jewish corner, at 3/b Kazinczy Street (1075).

Kisharang Restaurant

The last place on our list stands out a bit as it is a real, traditional Hungarian spot that also serves Eastern and Central European dishes in general. Kisharang is not a fancy and modern restaurant; however, the cosiness and the friendly service make it absolutely worth visiting. It does close a little bit earlier than its Mediterranean competitors (10 pm); however, they offer you the option of vegetarian-friendly meals, despite the amount of meat they work with. The red and white checkered tablecloth takes you away from the absolute modernity and the so-called “millennial” vibe the other places have, in the heart of the city centre, at 17 Október 6 Street (1051).
