The number of people inoculated against the coronavirus is expected to reach 5.5 million in Hungary today, allowing the further easing of restrictions, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán told public broadcaster Kossuth Rádió.
According to this morning’s coronavirus statistics, no one with Covid-19 has died in the past 24 hours, Orbán said. Of those suffering from Covid-19, 76 are hospitalised without respiratory assistance, and 22 are on ventilators, he said.
All restrictions on shops will be lifted,
Orbán said. Masks will not be mandatory indoors or outdoors, he said.
