Hungarian authorities successfully eliminated Budapest drug ring – PHOTOS, VIDEOS

The Hungarian Police together with a joint action of the Hungarian Counter Terrorism Centre (TEK) managed to catch several people who have operated a large cocaine business in Budapest.

As Police.hu reports, they have detained the seller and his wife, a runner, and two suppliers on the top of the hierarchic pyramid of the cocaine business in Budapest.

The basis for the action was the suspicion of possession and sale of large amounts of drugs launched against a 39-year-old man by the International Crime Division’s Drug Crime subdivision.

Investigators have successfully proved the suspicion that Péter T. was supplying cocaine to buyers and that his wife was also involved in the crime, who has helped the man with the rationing and packaging of the cocaine.

The orders were then delivered via a runner on bicycle. According to the report, the 31-year-old Norbert N. met with Péter T. every day and he received the cocaine for that day. He would then later return the money to his employer.

At this stage however, the investigators could not simply relay as they needed to know where the drug comes from in the first place, police.hu said.

According to 444, the Hungarian authorities continued their investigation and have found the 65-year-old Zsolt B., who have been supplying the drugs to the dealer, Péter T. and is likely to be the supplier of many similar dealers in the capital, or in Hungary.

The investigators have planned the detainment of the criminals on the 29^th of September. The dealer Péter T. was caught in district III in Budapest early afternoon coming out from an office building, the runner was caught when he arrived home and the dealer’s wife was detained in the same district as her husband, but coming out from a garage.

The runner had shown a sock with 20 one gram packets of drugs to the officers who had tested the suspicious substance to be cocaine. During the house search they found 44.47 grams of cocaine, a grinder, plastic cards, a precision scale, and small ziplock bags in the couple’s apartment.

The top of the hierarchy was caught with the help of the Counter Terrorism Centre as the authorities have known the background of the 65-year-old man.

When the authorities caught Zsolt B., they had found 127.3 grams of cocaine and equipment, such as scales and bags that founded the suspicion of him supplying the drugs to others, reports police.hu After the interrogation of the suspects, their arrest was initiated by the Hungarian prosecutor’s office.

The best thing in the cooperation was that the Hungarian authorities have successfully prevented nearly 200 grams of cocaine from reaching the streets of Hungary.
