Ed Sheeran and Imagine Dragons to perform at the MTV EMA Awards in Budapest

More stars are coming to the famous event held in Budapest this year. Several productions have been to Hungary before. Ed Sheeran, Imagine Dragons, and YUNGBLUD will also return to perform in Hungary. Due to the MTV EMA award ceremony, there are a lot of stars in Budapest.

Star parade in Budapest

There will be an incredible star parade in Hungary. This is because Budapest will once again be the venue for the prestigious MTV EMA awards ceremony. A few weeks ago, MTV European Music Awards announced that the gala will be held on November 14 in Budapest. The event will be held in the Papp LĂ¡szlĂ³ Budapest Sport Arena, writes index.hu.

Maluma, MĂ¥nskin, and Kim Petras were already on the performers’ list.

The host of the event will be a young rapper, Sweetie. The American rapper will not only be the host but will also perform 2 of her songs.

New performers

The list of previously known performers has further expanded. Imagine Dragons, YUNGBLUD, Griff, and Girl in Red will also arrive.

The most famous performer will be Ed Sheeran.

The 30-year-old, three-time Grammy Award-winning English singer has previously performed at the MTV EMA Gala. He also got on stage in 2014 and 2015. The singer is also among the nominees in the ‘Best Performer’ and ‘Best Pop Performer’ categories, writes telex.hu.

The other fan-favourite will be Imagine Dragons. The band will take the MTV EMA stage for the second time. The winner of last year’s gala’s ‘Best Push Performer’ category, YUNGBLUD, will also visit Budapest. This year, you can cheer for YUNGBLUD in the ‘Best Alternative’ category. YUNGBLUD is a true musical talent, singer, and songwriter.

The biggest fans can win tickets to the event.

So, 2,000 lucky ones can be there for free at the MTV EMA Gala and watch their favourite stars live. Several Hungarian influencers will be present at the ticket distribution event, while Hungarian DJs will take care of the good atmosphere.

Voting for the gala will run until November 10th. The MTV EMA Budapest gala will start at 3 pm on 14 November and will be available on MTV channels in 180 countries.
