Strange mistery: Unknown cadaver washed up by the Danube

One of the workers of Hídépítő Co. have found a suspicious body in the Danube while working near the area. They immediately notified the authorities and the arriving police have determined that the body was human but has started to decay.

One of the workers of the company sighted a strange body-like object washed up at one of the buoys near the Déli Összekötő (Southern Connecting) Bridge, Origo reported.

The police officers who have been sent to negotiate the strange object have determined that the body-like object the worker spotted was indeed a human body but have been heavily decayed.

The staff of the police have extracted the body from the Danube at the Kopaszi Dam.

Since they could not identify the body as of yet, the police have published the report made by the coroner in hopes of someone recognising the deceased person from the description.

The victim was wearing black Peter Fitch trousers, a checkered blue pyjama shirt, a blue sweater and brown shoes with grey socks.

There are only a few other things known about the body, such as that it is 166-170 centimetres tall, the body was well nourished, but algae and mud is covering its features, making it hard to identify.

However, there are a few strange and unusual things the coroner has found. The victim has a vertical, 16 centimetres long (~6 inches) cut in its abdomen which has been stitched together with 11 knots but seems to be relatively fresh.

The body still had a catheter attached to the urinary tract with a collecting bad at the end, and the skin at the back of its left hand is entirely missing.
