Hungary not invited to the White House summit
The White House invited three dozen nations, the European Commission and a number of private companies to a two-day summit, but Hungary did not get an invitation. The theme of the summit was effective countermeasures against ransomware attacks.
Meeting at the White House
The White House held the second Anti-Blackmail Summit on 31 October and 1 November. The United States invited its key allies. The security conference focused on priorities such as making computer systems more resilient and countering cyber attacks, according to the napi.hu. The aim was to educate countries and corporations on how to protect their systems against cyber criminals.
“A senior official in the Biden administration cited recent attacks, such as the hacking of the Los Angeles school district last month, as an example that highlights the importance of protecting your digital system,” AP News reports.
The US invited almost all major partner countries to the two-day meeting. Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Germany, India, the European Commission, Croatia, the Dominican Republic and the European Commission were present. From the Central and Eastern European region, Romania and Poland were invited, but Hungary did not get an invitation in its mailbox.

Hungary-US relations have deteriorated
The event was attended by FBI Director Christopher Wray, National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, Deputy Treasury Secretary Wally Adeyemo and Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman.
Not only countries but also giant companies such as Microsoft, CrowdStrike, the Cybersecurity Coalition, Palo Alto, SAP and Siemens were represented.
Washington and the Hungarian government have been in conflict in several areas. The Hungarian government led by Viktor OrbĂ¡n vetoed the US-initiated global minimum corporate tax, for instance. In the past, the US has also failed to inform Hungary about Russian election interference or illegal party financing.

Did Hungary or Serbia want an invitation, probably not. It is hard to show a smiling face and approval of the Biden Administration. The Biden Administration not only ruined its own economy, did the same to European economies by its idiotic oil/gas policies. There is also another important fact to consider, the Biden Administration does not respect countries’ sovereignty. President Biden keeps telling his “54” states that he is protecting democracy and Ukraine is protecting EU’s democracy. That is the biggest nonsense coming from Biden’s lips.
I wonder if the fact that Hungary was not invited had anything to do with the fact that V.O. is so chummy with V.P. And who knows what he is likely to share with V.P. as a bargaining chip to get more Russian gas (at 5x the cost of the EU as a collective). …Oh, I wonder what will the cost of Paks 2 when it is up and running.
If the Biden Administration does not respect countries’ sovereignity, then I wonder what can be said of V.P.?
I never knew that Hungary was a “key ally” of the U.S. I was so sure that V.O. was a HUGE fan of the Donald Trump Party, formerly the Republicans.
Just goes to show us that EVEN the Dominican Republic is considered more of a U.S. ally/more important, than the Viktor Orban Government. Hm, food for thought. đŸ˜‰ đŸ˜€
Ps. Come to think of it, Hungary really should’ve been invited, I am a firm believer in keeping your friends close, but your enemies EVEN CLOSER. đŸ™‚ đŸ˜€
Presently, the US and Hungary governments have nothing in common. Hungarian people do not support socialist Marxists governments. Yes, Hungary is a conservative country and is friendly and supports American conservatives.
