President Novák meets Azeri counterpart Ilham Alijev in Budapest
President Katalin Novák met Ilham Aliyev, her Azeri counterpart, in her office in Budapest on Monday, the president’s office said.
“Excellent bilateral relations” with strategic partners are even more valuable during the economic and energy crisis caused by the Ukraine-Russia war, she said.
Aliyev also praised Hungary-Azerbaijan relations and expressed hope that energy cooperation between the two countries would become closer in future.
He invited Novák to pay an official visit to Azerbaijan.
