Government proud of brotherhood between Hungarians, Kazakhs, Kipchaks
The honorary Kazakh consulate that opened 25 years ago in Karcag, in north-east Hungary, is an important pillar of ties between Hungary and Central Asia, the finance minister said on Friday.
“The Hungarian and Kazakh people belong together; and if we belong together, we have work to do,” Mihály Varga said at the event. “We must continue that work” by taking up international diplomatic relations and by strengthening cultural, economic and business ties, Varga said.
Szilárd Németh, a vice chairman of Orbán’s governing Fidesz wrote in a post shared about the consulate that there is a brotherhood between Hungarians, Cumans, Kipchaks and Kazakhs.
