Long-awaited turnaround at Hungarian petrol stations: mark your calendars!
Another fuel price change is coming on Friday to Hungarian petrol stations. And again, it will happen in the opposite direction, just like the one announced for Wednesday.
As we reported, today, fuel prices changed in two opposite directions. Petrol became more expensive by HUF 6 gross, resulting in an average price of HUF 612/litre. Diesel got cheaper by HUF 3 gross, making the average diesel price HUF 603/litre.
On Friday, 31 March, this will change again, and people with cars that run on diesel will be happy. The changes will be the following:
According to holtankoljak.hu, the purchase price of petrol will rise by HUF 8 gross. Meanwhile, petrol stations will pay HUF 4 gross less to wholesalers for diesel.
Given the current average prices, the coming average prices on Friday are as follows:
- 95 petrol: HUF 617/litre (EUR 1.62)
- diesel: HUF 599/litre (EUR 1.58)
This means that for the first time in a long time, the price of diesel finally slips below HUF 600/litre.
