Pope Francis thanks Hungary for ‘loving hospitality’
Pope Francis, speaking at his General Audience in Saint Peter’s Square on Wednesday, thanked Hungary’s authorities, the Hungarian Catholic Church, and the country’s people for “the loving hospitality” during his recent visit to Budapest.
The pope said he had “felt the love of each Hungarian” during his visit between April 28-30.
Francis highlighted the “humanitarian bridge” Hungary offered to people fleeing the war in Ukraine. He said Hungary was “building bridges to secure society’s future and in terms of a dialogue between the churches.”
The pontiff appealed for the Virgin Mary’s help in protecting Hungary and making peace in the world.
As we wrote a few days ago, Pope Francis talks about a secretive peace mission in Ukraine after his visit to Hungary, details HERE.

What about the EXCOMMUNICATION that Victor Orban practices in Hungary – the separation movement away from DEMOCRACY to a Dictatorship – Your Holiness.
This was MISSED in the OPPORTUNITIES that Pope Francis had, in his various speeches, his homily at the Pontifical Mass in his visit to Budapest, Hungary.
Cardinal Peter Erdo, “walked” around the fringes of this eradication of Freedom and Liberty – making reference to these TROUBLED and un-certain times in Hungary, which are core ingredients of Democracy.
Erdo went closer, than did His Holiness in the speeches that Pope Francis presented.
Saint Pope John Paul 11 – he would NOT have taken the sermonized direction that Pope Francis, choose to but would have DIRECTLY made reference to the obvious eradication process of DEMOCRACY in Hungary.
The Holy Roman Catholic Church and COMMUNISIM – history, which never lies – not a HAPPY marriage, nor country’s that Govern under a Dictatorial idea and philosophy.
