At the press conference, Balázs Németh said that in view of the heat, the organisers of the World Athletics Championships will provide free water to visitors both inside and outside the stadium, Index reports. The CEO added that unlike other mass events, this time security will not confiscate water bottles and flasks, so you can take your drinks into the grandstands.

In addition to all this, the organisers will also be giving away fans. It is also important to note that on the days when there is a morning programme at the World Championships, those with a valid ticket for a sunny seat will be allowed to pass through to the shaded areas.

Balázs Németh also said that the races would not be affected by the heat. However, he added that two athletes had heatstroke on Sunday. Neither of them had to go to hospital after receiving the necessary treatment on the spot.
