Budapest Corvinus University’s programme in the world’s TOP 20
Budapest Corvinus University’s Management and Leadership master’s programme made it to the world’s TOP 20. The programme has jumped four places ahead since 2022. Congratulations!
On the global 100 list of the Financial Times, the Management and Leadership master’s programme at Corvinus University has been rated as the 17th best considering the price/value ratio. The programme has been on the list for two decades, and its aggregated position is 94, which is also a success because it competes with the best British, French or Indian universities.
According to portfolio.hu, the Financial Times annually publishes its ranking of the world’s best management programmes. The Hungarian programme has been present on the list since the time the first such ranking was compiled by the business journal in 2005. Corvinus’s Management and Leadership master’s programme is 94th this year, which means that it has jumped four positions ahead.

Considering the price/value factor, the university’s programme stands at the 17th place. The ranking says that 99% of the university graduates landed a job in less than three months. Furthermore, the salaries of 2020 graduates increased 2/3rd within 2-3 years after their first employment.
The ranking includes only 39 schools, present on the list for the last ten years without interruption. Furthermore, it has only five business schools from the CEE region. Most programmes are based in the United Kingdom, France and India. These three countries occupy 42 places on the list of 100.
The first place went to the French HEC Paris, the second to the Swiss St. Gallen University. Both schools are Corvinus’s partners in their CEMS international management programme. That is in the English language Management and Leadership master’s programme of the university. Therefore, graduates can get a second diploma. That CEMS degree was chosen to be the world’s 12th-best management diploma by Quacquarelli Symonds, a global higher education analyst company.

Great achievement, congrats. These management program teachers must be a lot better paid than than average college/university teachers. Please do correct me if I am wrong. Good compensation motivates educators to plan and excecute inspiring classes.
