Hungary prepares for the presidency of the Council of the EU
State secretary Nándor Csepreghy participated at an informal meeting of European Union transport ministers in Barcelona on Friday, the Construction and Transport Ministry said on Saturday.
The ministers exchanged views on the fundamental role of transport and mobility, their role in social and regional cohesion, and the advantages of decarbonisation and digitalisation at the meeting, the ministry said in a statement.
In preparation for Hungary to assume the rotating presidency of the Council of the EU in the second half of 2024, Csepreghy held talks with a number of ministers and state secretaries at the meeting.
