PM Orbán discusses fight against leftist forces with new Argentinian president
Prime Minister Viktor Orban met Argentina’s new President Javier Milei for bilateral talks in Buenos Aires late on Saturday, the prime minister’s press chief said.
The talks focused on political cooperation “in the interest of more effective fight against international leftist forces” as well as opportunities to further developing bilateral ties, Bertalan Havasi said in a statement. Orbán congratulated Milei on his election victory and invited him to pay an official visit to Hungary.
Orbán meets Catholic lawmakers’ network members in Argentina
Orbán met Argentinian members of the International Catholic Lawmakers’ Network (ICLN) in Buenos Aires on Sunday, Orbán’s press chief said. At the meeting, Orbán discussed challenges for and opportunities in Christian Democratic policy making with MPs and state secretaries of Argentina.

I believe Mr. Milei has more than plenty of domestic challenges … With an annual inflation expected to hit 200 percent this year and 40 percent of Argentina’s citizens living in poverty.
