Hungarian authorities have taken into custody a Hungarian minor on charges of posting online propaganda content promoting the Islamic State terrorist organisation, the central investigation office of the prosecution said on Wednesday.
The prosecutor’s office has launched an investigation based on information from Hungary’s Counter-terrorism force TEK, it said in a statement.
According to charges, the suspect prepared a video with Hungarian subtitles that promoted Islamic State and uploaded it onto the terrorist organisation’s site in December 2022.
The suspect continued to promote Islamic State on his own server through propaganda in Hungarian, the statement said.
The suspect was detained in a coordinated operation with TEK and was later heard on charges of inciting war and other crimes.

Great move. No pro hamas propaganda has any place in Hungary. Hungary must guarantee the safety of all Jewish Hungarian citizens and remain a steadfast supporter of Israel.
