Budapest Airport to welcome new 4-star hotel in 2025 – PHOTOS

The TRIBE Budapest Airport Hotel, developed by WING, has reached its structural completion. This new four-star hotel, situated within walking distance from Terminal 2, is set to open in the second quarter of 2025. It will be directly connected to the ibis Styles Budapest Airport Hotel, which opened in 2018, enhancing the airport’s accommodation options for travellers.

Budapest’s Liszt Ferenc International Airport will soon boast another terminal-adjacent hotel, thanks to the TRIBE Budapest Airport Hotel. Featuring 167 rooms spread over 8,000 square meters, the hotel aims to cater to both business and leisure travellers. This new establishment will be the second TRIBE brand hotel in Hungary, providing an upscale alternative to the existing three-star ibis Styles hotel, Világgazdaság reports.

Forecasts suggest that passenger traffic at Budapest Airport in 2024 will surpass the record levels of 2019. Balázs Bogáts, Deputy CEO of Commercial at Budapest Airport, stressed that the new hotel is a crucial step in maintaining high standards of service and convenience for travellers.

Sustainability is a key focus in the hotel’s design, aiming for one of the first BREEAM certifications in Hungary.
