Imagine Dragons in Budapest
According to Index, Imagine Dragons, the renowned American pop-rock band, will perform at Hungary’s largest concert venue, the Puskás Arena, on 14 June 2025. The tour will kick off in Zurich in May and conclude in London in July. Their upcoming Budapest show reflects the band’s growing popularity, as they have outgrown the Budapest Arena.
A skyrocketing career
Imagine Dragons will embark on their first full European stadium tour next year, with stops in countries including Estonia, Czechia, Italy, Spain, France, and the Netherlands. Their concert at the Puskás Arena on 14 June 2025 will be their fifth performance in Hungary, following appearances at the Sziget Festival in 2014 and 2023, the Budapest Sportarena in 2016, and the VOLT Festival in 2017. The tour follows the release of their sixth studio album, LOOM, which combines their signature sound with a modern twist.
The band began their US tour in July 2023, with the final four shows set for late October in Los Angeles, before heading to Asia in November and December with gigs in Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Japan. Formed in 2008, Imagine Dragons, now a trio, has sold 74 million albums worldwide and garnered over 160 billion streams. Their hits, including Radioactive, Believer, Thunder, and Demons, have achieved over ten times platinum status.
Since their breakthrough in 2009, Imagine Dragons have achieved five consecutive top 10 debuts on the Billboard album charts, including Night Visions (2012) and Mercury – Act 1 (2021), with Mercury – Act 2 produced by Rick Rubin in 2022. Their hits Bones and Enemy have dominated the charts, while Bad Liar became their tenth single to surpass a billion streams. The band has collaborated with stars like Kendrick Lamar, Lil Wayne, and Hans Zimmer, and their charity efforts have raised millions for causes such as children’s cancer and LGBTQ+ support. Tickets for their European LOOM tour will be available from 13 September, with VIP packages offering exclusive experiences.
