Hungarian MOL’s foundation files police report on data breach
The MOL – New Europe Foundation has filed a report on a data breach, the foundation said on Monday.

The MOL – New Europe Foundation said a number of articles had been published on the website 444.hu concerning the foundation’s support and operation “based mainly on data that was acquired illegally from the foundation’s IT system”.
“The foundation has started to take the necessary legal steps and filed a report with the police,” it added.
The MOL – New Europe Foundation is cooperating with the authorities on the matter.
The MOL – New Europe Foundation was established by oil and gas company MOL and the state of Hungary to establish a broad support system for sport, culture, healthcare, economic development and environmental protection.
