The activity level is quite high in the group, there are lots of people who try to find Kenzie. Some are suspicious of Szimpla Kert, quoting reviews saying that girls were drugged there by having powder mixed into their drinks.
Others try to remain cool and do what they can. According to an update posted 15 hours ago, the Hungarian police extended the investigation from a local level to the capital. A part-time employee of the publisher of the update said police collected “several footages from both Szimpla and the streets near the bar.” Finally, the investigation is one of the top priorities of the authorities, “with over a dozen ground-level policemen who actively collect every data available.”
U.S. Congress representative wrote a letter for Secretary Blinken
Timothy M. Kennedy, the congressional representative of the 26th district in New York, wrote a letter to Secretary Anthony Blinken yesterday. He explained the situation to him and said the Department of State should work directly with the U.S. Embassy in Hungary and the Budapest civil law enforcement agency “RendÅ‘rség”.
“Her family and friends are pleading for help to find her – as am I, as one of the Members of the Congress who represent our region. As you know, time is essential in these cases, and a coordinated search between the United States and Hungary is necessary to expeditiously bring Ms. Michalski home”, Representative Kennedy concluded in his letter.
