Breaking – decrees about extended restrictions and reopening published

Change language:
The relevant government decrees were published Saturday afternoon. They contain not only the prolongation of the restrictions but also how Hungary plans to reopen.
According to telex.hu, the restrictions remain in effect until April 8. The basic rules do not change: everybody has to wear a face mask, everybody should be at home by 8 pm, and some shops remain closed.
The second decree contains the plan of reopening. The prerequisite for that is 2.5 million inoculated people (who received at least their first jab). If that happens, the government will abbreviate the
curfew currently in effect to be between 10 pm and 5 am.
Furthermore, from that point on, all shops and service providers will be able to work as they did before March 8, when the government introduced the new and strict rules to contain the spread of the virus in the third wave. Moreover,
shops can remain open until 9:30 pm instead of closing at 7 pm.
