New direct flights announced from Budapest to East Midlands and Newcastle

Budapest Airport, part of VINCI Airports’ network, has launched new flights from Budapest to East Midlands Airport and Newcastle in England. The two new destinations will be added to the Jet2.com airline’s current services to Manchester, Birmingham, and Leeds Bradford in the winter schedule from October 2025, further strengthening tourism between Hungary and the UK.

According to Budapest Airport, in the winter schedule, Jet2.com is launching flights to East Midlands Airport and Newcastle, the latter being a brand-new English destination in the Budapest schedule. The two connections will operate from October 2025 to April 2026, in response to the growing demand for flights between Hungary and the UK. With the flights to East Midlands Airport and Newcastle, Jet2.com now offers six UK destinations from Budapest. The flights operating twice a week offer Hungarian passengers the opportunity to take shorter city breaks or explore the English countryside and the area famous for the legend of Robin Hood.
