Miss World Hungary 2025 title goes to 17-year-old student

Janka Végvári was crowned Miss World Hungary during the final of the national beauty pageant on Sunday evening. The professional jury selected Eszter Emőke Veress and Dorka Kata Csapó as the two runners-up.

The event also saw Doroti Tokodi receive the Audience Award, while the Miss Charity subcategory was won by Janka Végvári.

Following the jury’s vote tally, 17-year-old Janka Végvári, a high school student in Mosonmagyaróvár specialising in advanced English studies, earned the highest score and received the crown. She will hold the Miss World Hungary title for one year and represent the country at the international Miss World final.

The sixteen contestants who made it to the final walked the runway in four different outfits. The first round featured sportswear, followed by the so-called “creative tour,” where each contestant wore a unique creation by a Hungarian fashion designer, inspired by the colour of the year, mocha mousse. The participants also showcased national costumes designed by Millaas Fashion and evening gowns created by Orsoya Darchi.
