Time Out Market Budapest: Amazing October programmes feature concert, Champagne Day, and Halloween

Since opening its doors a month ago at the iconic Corvin Palace, Time Out Market Budapest has quickly become a vibrant destination for food and culture lovers.

This October, the Market highlights three exciting cultural events – Random Trip concert, Champagne Day, and Halloween celebration – inviting everyone to enjoy food, music, and entertainment under one roof.

Time Out Market Budapest is a food and cultural market that brings the best of the city – and beyond – together under one roof. Showcasing a curated mix of top chefs, restaurateurs, drinks, and cultural experiences, it was the first Time Out Market to open in Central and Eastern Europe.

The Market combines food, drinks, local culture, music, and creativity in a dynamic space featuring eleven culinary concepts, three bars, five event spaces, and around 540 seats.

Banana Records record label and Time Out Market Budapest come together to create evenings where music, gastronomy, and cocktails merge into a single unforgettable experience.

Banana Records is known for supporting fresh talent and shaping Budapest’s underground scene, while Time Out Market Budapest is home to the city’s top chefs and bartenders – creating the perfect setting for an unforgettable
Wednesday.

An evening where music takes over. On 22nd October, Random Trip arrives at Banana Live Sessions on the Time Out Market Budapest stage, bringing their improvised and radio-hit-inspired music to create an unforgettable atmosphere.

Since 2008–2009, the group has shaped Budapest’s club scene, released nationwide hits, and performed successfully at festivals. The Random Trip band will be joined by one of Hungary’s most versatile divas, Sena Dagadu — the lead singer of Irie Maffia and SenaDagaDub — for a special, one-night-only concert.

Random Trip line-up:

Sena – vocals
Delov Jávor – drums
DJ Q-Cee – DJ
Cséry Zoltán – synthesizer
Táborszky Bence – trumpet

Sena is eagerly looking forward to the concert, and she’s especially delighted to perform in such a unique venue, as gastronomy is close to her heart. During her first visit to Time Out Market, she shared: “I have a really good relationship with food — I love eating, and I love flavours. We mix influences from all over the
world; I’m basically an omnivore, open to anything that has soul and taste. I love when everyone orders something different, and we can all taste each other’s dishes, swap plates, and share. I also really enjoy big family lunches. For me, eating is a social experience — not something solitary, but a shared occasion.”

Entry to the event is free. Time Out Market Budapest’s food and drinks will be available throughout the evening, with the kitchens open until 10 PM and the bars until 11:30 PM. Last call at the bars at 11 PM.

24 October 2025, 6 PM: Champagne Day

This October, Time Out Market Budapest joins the global celebration of Champagne Day, the annual event dedicated to Champagne lovers around the world. First launched in 2009 by Californian blogger and wine tutor Chris Oggenfus, Champagne Day has since grown into an international tradition observed on the fourth Friday of October.

On October 24, from 6 PM to 9 PM, the Market will host a unique gastronomic evening at Corvin Palace, where iconic Champagne houses will be paired with signature dishes from the Market’s 11 kitchens.

Brand ambassadors will be present at each kitchen to guide guests through ideal food pairings and introduce them to a curated selection of Champagnes, also available at the Wine Bar while supplies last.

Participating Champagne houses include Palmer & Co, Jacquart, Laurent-Perrier, Alfred Gratien, Piper-Heidsieck, Billecart-Salmon, Taittinger, Veuve Clicquot, Moët & Chandon, Ruinart, Louis Roederer, and Pierre Gimonnet & Fils. The evening will celebrate the art of pairing fine Champagne with culinary
creativity — a sparkling tribute to life’s special moments in the heart of Budapest.

31 October – 2 November, 2025: Halloween & Día de los Muertos

As Halloween approaches, Time Out Market Budapest invites families and friends to celebrate the spooky season together with a weekend full of creativity, culture, and fun. On October 31, guests can enjoy festive “pumpkin vibes” decor at the Market’s main entrance and soak in the Halloween atmosphere. The celebration continues with Día de los Muertos on November 1 and 2, featuring beautifully face-painted staff, colorful decorations, and interactive experiences.

A special kids’ corner awaits little ones who can join in the fun with themed crafts, face painting, and a special storytelling session inspired by Coco animated movie. Whether you’re after thrills, treats, or simply great food and drinks in a lively setting, there’s something for everyone to enjoy this Halloween at Time Out Market Budapest.

Entry to the events is free. The Market’s kitchens and bars will be open all day — serving delicious food and drinks from 11:30 AM until 11:30 PM. Kitchens close at 10 PM and last call at the bars at 11 PM.
