Centre of Scientific Wonders’ new Playbar opened with a 9D and a round cinema
The Centre of Scientific Wonders has been quite a popular attraction since its opening. Travelo.hu writes that they recently opened a new Playbar with three exhibitions, a Gedeon Richter Laboratory, escape rooms and Hungary’s first 9D and round cinema.
The place offers physics shows held in the lecture hall for the lovers of spectacular experiments, and, after the workshops of the Richter Laboratory, visitors are encouraged to look at the world through scientific glasses. If you seek a little excitement and quizzes, then you can try to escape from four scientific escape rooms. However, if you only want to relax and drink cocktails, then you can sip on your favourite drinks in test-tubes.
The Csopa Playbar (Csodák Palotája = Centre of Scientific Wonders) also offers pool football, three-sided table football and several digital game boards. At the screenings of the 9D and 360° round cinema you can be part of uniquely extraordinary worlds while sitting in chairs that move on four axles.
The Newton, the Illusion and the Birth exhibitions form different sections and you can visit all of them with a separate ticket, which costs 900 forints for children and 1100 forints for adults. The escape rooms can be rented by groups of 2-5 people for 55 minutes, for 6000 forints. Both cinemas cost 600 forints and offer 5-10 minute long screenings, while the half hour long physics show costs 900 forints for children and 1100 forints for adults.
