PM Orbán: Ukrainians want Hungary to suffer from a fuel shortage

“Ukrainians know very well what they are doing and why: they want Hungary to suffer from a fuel shortage in the weeks preceding the election driving prices up to reach 1,000 forints per litre,” the prime minister said on Facebook on Tuesday.

“We will not assist to Ukraine’s oil blockade but thwart it. Brussels and Kyiv can take that for granted,” he said.

  1. All Ukraine wants is for Hungary to stop using Russian oil and use other oil. Orban lies when he says Ukraine wants Hungary to suffer from a fuel shortage. Hungarian purchases of Russian oil funds the Russian army which kills Ukrainians and Ukraine needs this to stop. It’s as simple as that and it is not too much to ask when your country is under attack by a barbaric opponent. It is our duty to help our neighbours in their time of greatest need and Fidesz has perverted the Hungarian dialogue with its’ demonizing of Hungary’s neighbours who are victims of barbaric aggression .
