Did Zelensky just threaten Viktor Orbán with the Ukrainian armed forces?

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky suggested that Hungary might obstruct a major European Union loan intended to support Ukraine’s defence, and right after, he appeared to threaten Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.

The disagreement between Budapest and Kyiv is becoming more and more fierce

Speaking at a press conference, Zelensky expressed hope that a single EU member state would not block the proposed EUR 90 billion loan package, which Ukraine considers crucial for purchasing weapons and fighter jets. Without directly naming Hungary, the Ukrainian leader appeared to refer to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, writes 444.

If that person blocks the loan or its first tranche, we will give our armed forces that person’s address so they can call and speak to them in their own language.

In case you missed it, the ongoing dispute is about Zelensky saying he wouldn’t repair the Druzhba pipeline, while Hungary claims it’s in better shape than ever, offering proof on Monday.

Opposition reaction in Hungary

The remarks quickly sparked reactions in Hungary. Opposition politician Péter Magyar strongly criticised the statement during a public forum in the town of Szarvas. According to Magyar, no foreign leader should threaten any Hungarian citizen or politician, reports Telex.

He called on Zelensky to clarify his words and, if the remarks were accurately reported, to withdraw them. “Not a single Hungarian can be threatened by a foreign state leader,” Magyar said. He added that this principle applies not only to the current government led by Orbán but also to any future administration.

  1. In 2022, The Ukrainian Army was the best in Europe – larger than any other than Russian, with extremely well-trained athletic male troops who had a perfect Nazi-White Supremacist warrior ideal.

98% of those people, however, are now either crippled at home or pushing up Daisies.

This Ukrainian Army is heavily buttressed by undeclared NATO troops and conscripts who have been forced into service.

In 2022, The Ukrainian Army could have conquered Hungary within a month.

In 2026, The Ukrainian Army may not be able to contend with the little Hungarian Army.

Therefore, this threat, though it may have a serious component to it, would not be, if I were Orbán, something that would keep me up at night.

In fact, I would give them encouragement to attack Hungary, so I could retake Transkarpaty.

But that is me. Orbán Viktor seems to be , and quite logically so, s a dedicated passivist, so I doubt he will do anything.

    • Mouton’s post is a creation of Kremlin lies. There are no NATO troops fighting in Ukraine. It’s complete propaganda. To say in 2022 that the Ukrainian army was the best in Europe other than Russia is another ridiculous lie. However, if you want to excuse RUSSIAN FAILURE in Ukraine it is helpful to say it. The fact of the matter is that a country that has roughly a third of the population of Russia is successfully able to hold the Russian barbarians back. Russians on the front have no incentive to fight except for pay and for fear of their commanders who will kill them if they don’t fight. Ukrainians fight to protect their families and their country from Russian barbaric invaders who seek to end their existence as a nation. They have more incentive. Russia finds itself in a stalemate and they are short on armour which means they pour soldier into meat assaults resulting in horrific casualties. Russian recruitment can’t keep up with losses now. Mouton your countrymen are dead and being buried by the thousands in the hole called Russia.

  2. What?????
Russia damages the Friendship Pipeline cutting off supplies to their customers, Hungary and Slovakia. Ukraine must fix this pipeline so that Russia can make money selling oil to Hungary and Slovakia. That money also allows Russia to make more bombs to damage the line all over again…. and lots of other things as well. Ukraine doesn’t see the logic in this and is no hurry to fix the pipeline. They really don’t care if Russia makes money from it or if Hungary and Slovakia have to seek other sources of oil. This enrages Robert Fico and Viktor Orban so they both run to Moscow seeking ……okay, I won’t say what I have no way of knowing. But I do know that János Kádár ran to Moscow back in 1956 when Hungary was in another crisis, and everyone who reached the 3rd grade in Hungary knows what happened after that visit.

So now the threats are flying back and forth between two EU and NATO countries and a neighboring EU / NATO “wanna be” country, Ukraine. Putin loves this. He’s getting more for his money than he would have if the oil had never stopped flowing.

Meanwhile, most of the “Board of Peace” is at war and they don’t have time to deal with the problem, or even comment on it, and Putin says that he may cut Europe off the energy teat before Europe is ready to do it. Wow! Who made this mess? No, don’t tell me. We all know.
