Andy Vajna’s casinos brought a profit of almost 20 million EUR last year
Origo.hu writes that according to the companies’ officially published annual report, Andy Vajna’s casinos closed the year of 2015 with a (combined) profit of more than 19.9 million EUR (6.3 billion HUF). Last year turned out to be way more profitable than the previous one, when they gained more than 8.8 million EUR (2.8 billion HUF). Also, the casino companies employed about 1000 people and paid about 17 million EUR (together with the VAT) more tax in 2015, the sum was over 26.9 million EUR (8.5 billion HUF).
2015 was a great year for the casinos of Andy Vajna, they generated more profit than in 2014, writes Origo, based on the reports submitted by the companies operating the casinos. The reports had to be sent by May 31. The four firms in question are the LVC Diamond Ltd., LVC Gold Ltd., Las Vegas Casino Ltd. and Bár-Co-2 Ltd. They managed to make more than 19.9 million EUR profit in 2015, whereas this sum was “only” a little above 8.8 million EUR.
The LVC Diamond Ltd. generated an operating income of more than 15.5 million EUR (4.9 billion HUF), a net turnover of over 45.3 million EUR (14.3 billion HUF) and the post-tax profit was more than 13 million EUR (4.1 billion HUF).
The LVC Gold Ltd. made an operating income of more than 4.7 million EUR (1.5 billion HUF), a net turnover of more than 23.2 million EUR (7.32 billion HUF) and the profit after paying taxes was over 4.1 million EUR (1.3 billion HUF).
The operating income of Bár-Co-2 Ltd. was over 225 thousand EUR (71 million HUF), while the net turnover was more than 326.6 thousand EUR (103 million HUF) and over 145.8 thousand EUR (46 million HUF) were left after paying taxes in 2015.
The holding company of the aforementioned ones, Las Vegas Casino Ltd. could end last year with an operating income of more than 2.64 million EUR (834 million HUF), a net turnover of more than 4.1 million EUR (1.3 billion HUF) and the three companies could receive a (post-tax) dividend of over 19.3 million EUR (6.1 billion HUF).
Also, the representatives of the companies told Origo that concerning all of their taxes (including VAT) they paid more than 26.9 million EUR (8.5 billion HUF); a sum 17 million EUR more (5.4 billion HUF) than in 2014.
Additionally, it turned out than the four companies managed to increase the number of their workers by almost four times, thus, in 2015 nearly 1000 people were employed in the casinos of Andy Vajna.
