Explosive experts checked the bag and found no bomb, police said. The abandoned bag was found by Sziget’s security staff at the entrance and they immediately alerted the police.
Entry to the festival was suspended from about 1.45 pm to 2.30 pm and visitors were redirected to nearby streets, the festival’s press chief Viktória VetÅ‘ said. Traffic nearby was also stopped while the package was under scrutiny.
